What Are Common Home Health Care Triggers?
Knowing when to recommend or refer home care to someone can be tricky if you aren’t familiar with common triggers that denote a need for assistance.
While each individual is unique in their health care needs, there are a number of signs and life events that can be reliable indicators for when the time is right for home care, including:
Speech Therapy Triggers
- Difficulty chewing or finishing meals
- Change in mental status
- Diagnosis of Dementia

- Return from hospital or rehab
- Change in living situation
