CorsoCare Hospice Volunteer Activities

Our Volunteer Program allows our patients and families to receive additional support through the work of our compassionate volunteers.

There are a variety of activities and events our volunteers coordinate to provide additional support, love and care to our patients.

No One Dies Alone Program

CorsoCare Hospice offers the ‘No One Dies Alone’ or NODA program where volunteers provide vigil support to actively dying patients.

NODA Volunteers provide passive support and peaceful presence in the final moments for our patients and assure them that they are not alone during this crucial final step.

We Honor Veterans Program

CorsoCare Hospice is proud of our WHV Team, “We Honor Veterans” Program. It is a partnership between the Department of Veteran’s Affairs and the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.

This programming allows volunteers to provide emotional support and a listening ear to those who have served.

Volunteer Pet Companionship Program

Our pet companionship program offers support with furry friends!

Hospice volunteers with trained pet companions provide a wide range of physical, emotional, and social benefits to patients and their families.
