CorsoCare Volunteers offer the No One Dies Alone programming to our hospice patients.

CorsoCare Hospice offers the ‘No One Dies Alone’ or NODA program where volunteers provide vigil support to actively dying patients. This is specifically for our patients who do not have family or have family living far away. NODA Volunteers provide passive support and peaceful presence in the final moments for our patients and assure them that they are not alone during this crucial final step.

This is one of the many impactful programs our volunteers are able to offer hospice patients. CorsoCare Volunteers created the NODA program and we now have many experienced NODA volunteers. They provided vigil support for many past patients and take comfort in the knowledge that they have helped many to make their final journey.

“To know that you are needed is rewarding.  At the end of the day, knowing that you have made someone’s day brighter, is a wonderful experience.” – Hospice Volunteer
