The Program, Featured On Local News, Brings Comfort And Compassion To Hospice Patients.

The CorsoCare No One Dies Alone (NODA) program is making waves and was featured on FOX 2 news! This incredible program is exemplified by volunteers like Jessica Harrington, who provide comfort and companionship to those in their last moments.

It’s truly remarkable how much of an impact CorsoCare volunteers like Jessica can make in the final 24-48 hours of a patient’s life. Their presence makes a significant difference, from reading books to saying prayers or simply holding a hand. “It’s the greatest honor of my life to be there for them,” said Jessica.

The NODA program was inspired by Regional Volunteer Program Manager, Jessi Hall, who was moved after spending time with a 102-year-old patient who outlived her loved ones. “This is just their last few moments on this earth. I couldn’t bear them being alone if I could be there,” said Jessi. Volunteers are the heart of the NODA program, and with experienced volunteers like Jessica and Jessi leading the way, the program continues to expand, bringing peace to more hospice patients.

CorsoCare Hospice offers the NODA program for our patients who do not have family or have family living far away. CorsoCare NODA volunteers are the heart of the program, helping it grow and reach more patients in need. With experienced volunteers like Jessica leading the way, the program continues to expand, bringing peace to more hospice patients. It’s an incredible opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
